What's been happneing?
Some of my regulars will know how much I love autumn and 2024 has not disappointed. I took off on a retreat to Portugal in early October for 5 days which was just magical, followed by a weekend reunion with my cousins in Malahide. The Bank Holiday weekend ended on a high with a lovely hike up The 12'OClock Hills which I hadn't done in years and spending time with friends. I finally feel I'm back on track with my physical fitness and feeling good in my body.
I also started a new contract with Avista (previously Daughters of Charity) in September and settling into that every Monday evening. Along with Brothers of Charity on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, I feel I now have he perfect balance between my community work and the private clinic. As always, I feel very fortunate to do what I do and that's all thanks to you.
In other news... the Bloodmill Road upgrade is finally happening. Therefore Bloodmill Road will temporarily close at Garryglass Roundabout up to the entrance of Amhraic an Muillean (just below entrace to Just Be). This will happen for 3 months from 20th November 2024 until 13th February 2025. Diversions will be clearly signposted. I will highlight this also in my text reminders for each of your individual appointments.
