Improve positive feelings with Reiki

 

So how do you know how you want to feel and do you practise self care?  Self care starts with how you want to feel?  It’s different for everyone and the list is endless including things like I want to feel loved, accepted, appreciated, abundant, balanced, free, happy, healthy, joy, peace, etc., etc.

 

More simply put, we have positive feelings and negative feelings.  We want to increase the postive feelings and reduce the negative feelings.  This takes practice, practice, practice until you realise 2-3 core feelings you want to feel everyday.  Yes, you will experience other feelings too, generally about things outside of your control but everything else you can decide to feel positive about it or negative about it.

 

How can Reiki help?

 

So how do you know which feelings to focus on and which to delete?  Well, I can help by doing Reiki on you and accessing which areas of your body we need to focus on. For example, I recently worked with someone who felt inferior to colleagues at work.  During the treatment her throat chakra came up as unbalanced and I felt that this person needed to be more assertive.  The person agreed they would love to say what they want and we worked on how they could do exactly this without offending anyone.

I work on myself everyday to achieve my feelings of being happy and healthy by making decisions that will enhance these feelings rather than not.  An example, to feel healthy I need to work in a healthy way which means doing what I love as a therapist and this also makes me feel happy doing what I am so passionate about.  To feel healthy I need to eat healthy which for me means being organised and knowing what I will have for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Do I snack, yes, I just ate a biscuit from the Christmas tin but I enjoyed it and I’m not going to beat myself up about it.  Why should I, it’s only a biscuit.  BUT, because I’m not hungry and have prepared my meals I don’t eat the whole tin in one go. Yes, this would have happened in the past.

So we’ve all been through the trials and tribulations of the weather the last few days and no doubt all the Mums have been holding it together keeping the kids occupied and ensuring the fridge is well stocked.  Hopefully you also had time to relax with your loved ones watching movies or playing in the snow.

Opening Hours for March

So apart from Mother’s Day next weekend, we have alot to celebrate this month with St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th and Easter towards the end of the month.  So the Just Be Clinic will not open on Saturday, 17th or 31st March.

The good news is I will open on Good Friday, 30th March from 10am to 2pm to help alleviate the demand.

A month of love #JustForYou

January has been a long, wet, hard month for many but spring is in the air now and it’s time for you to also spring back to the life you want.

We all need some time out and the best way to embrace that is to do something for yourself.  Already I can imagine a lot of you planning lovely surprises and treats for your loved ones this Valentines.  But I urge you to prioritise yourself first.  What better way to help others, show you love them, than to love yourself first.  Take control and fulfil your needs rather than waiting and hoping for someone else to do it for you.
