Once a month, I take the Just Be Private Clinic to Adare Health Foods & Wellness Centre located on Station Road in the middle of Adare Village.  My next clinic will take place this coming Saturday, 22nd April between 10am – 5pm for Reflexology, Reiki, Hopi Ear Candling, Back Massage or Indian Head Massage. BOOK NOW

Mindfulness

The next set of Mindfulness Groups will commence next week on the following days and dates here at the Just Be Private Clinic in Glendale Lawn.  If you would like to take part in one of the follow groups, please BOOK NOW

Monday, 10am – 24th April, 8th May, 15th May & 22nd May
Thursday 7pm – 27th April, 4th May, 11th May & 18th May
Friday 10am – 28th April, 5th May, 12th May & 19th May

Each block costs €48 payable in advance to confirm your place.

What’s been happening

A new online booking system
Well I finally took the plunge, released my technophobe and embraced an online booking system.  I’ve done quite a bit of research on this and finally settled with ‘gettimely’ which is a simply, safe and secure system for you to book all your treatments.  Why not give it a go today by visiting www.justbe.ie and click on ‘Make and appointment’

I am very excited about this new feature to the Just Be website so I look forward to hearing your feedback when you next visit for a rejuvenating session.  However, if you still want to book the ‘old fashioned’ way over the phone or by text, no problem.

Mindfulness Groups
Following the success of both the Monday and Friday morning Mindfulness Groups, I am delighted to confirm that I will be starting a 3rd Mindfulness Group on Thursday evenings at 7pm starting on 27th April 2017.  If you are interested please get in touch immediately as spaces are limited. Yes I did and no your eyes do not deceive you.  I walked on FIRE!!!  Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March.  Last year I walked on glass so this year I had to take it to the next level and walk on fire.  It was an amazing day at ‘Ignite your Potential’ and what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. Later that evening I went on to Network Limerick Event and had the privilge of sharing a stage with Joy Neville and Josephine Feehily. Watch this space for next year’s event???

I am delighted to confirm that the next set of Just Be Mindfulness will commence next week as follows:

Monday, 6th March at 10am
Friday, 10th March at 10am

Each course runs for 4 weeks and costs just €48, payable at the first session.  Book now to guarantee your place.  Please note, as St. Patrick’s Day is Friday this year, we will not have a session on 17th March but will continue the following week.

I have also had some interest in running an evening course and looking at Thursdays at 7pm.  If this is of interest to you please let me know.

What’s happening?

Like alot of people I’ve been dragging myself through most of January with a cough and cold that just seemed to linger.  So, like many of you, my New Year is only starting now with the arrival of Spring and the sight of new life in the garden and new beginings for all of us.  So if you didn’t quite have the start you were hoping for in 2017, do not dispear.  So I started with booking myself a treatment on Monday and booking my next appointment for 4 weeks time.  I truly believe if it’s in the diary it will happen so I’m back on track with my self care and self love.  I’ll also be sharing the love with you with the return of Tops Tips and Case studies each month, so watch this space.

So for February why not be your own Valentine and let me help you and book yourself a rejuvenating treatment and get back that Just Be feeling.  Remember, all treatments are €50 including an Epsom Salt Blend to use at home or enjoy 2 treatments in one session for just €70 for the third year running. Prioritise yourself before the kids, your partner and anyone else you care for.  It’s just an hour, so book now and it will happen.  Appointments are available Tuesday 9.30 – 7pm, Wednesday 9.30am – 5pm and Thursday, 9.30am – 7pm.  If you prefer a weekend booking, Saturday, 18th February I’m back at Adare Health Foods & Wellness Centre.

The first Just Be Mindful Meditation session on every Monday is now full.  We have a lovely group of ladies and so far all are enjoying the experience and really starting to release negative behaviours and feelings and looking forward to a bright future with new habits and feelings. I’m loving the experience too so I’ve decided to do another session each week at 10am on Friday mornings starting from 3rd March.  I only have 8 places available so please let me know now if you would like to take part.

What’s happening in Janaury?

Firstly, a very Happy New Year to each and every one of you.  Needless to say I’m very excited to start 2017 and, as promised, I’m delighted to announce the first course of Just Be Mindful Meditation which will start this month and run throughout the year going forward.  With only 2 places remaining for the first course starting on Monday, 23rd January at 10am please let me know if you can join us immediately.  Each course will run in blocks of 4 weeks continuously for the year and each block will cost €48, payable in advance to secure your place.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment. Mindfulness is now being examined scientifically and has been found to be a key element in happiness.

Professor emeritus Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder and former director of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, helped to bring the practice of mindfulness meditation into mainstream medicine and demonstrated that practicing mindfulness can bring improvements in both physical and psychological symptoms as well as positive changes in health attitudes and behaviors.

The benefits of mindfulness are widely recorded and not only benefit our mental well-being but also our physical and emotional well-being also.  Here are some of the benefits;

  • Increasing your capacity for mindfulness supports many attitudes that contribute to a satisfied life.
  • Being mindful makes it easier to savor the pleasures in life as they occur, helps you become fully engaged in activities, and creates a greater capacity to deal with adverse events.
  • By focusing on the here and now, many people who practice mindfulness find that they are less likely to get caught up in worries about the future or regrets over the past, are less preoccupied with concerns about success and self-esteem, and are better able to form deep connections with others.
  • Physically being mindful will help relieve stress, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep and even alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties
  • Mentally being mindful will help improve symptoms of depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, conflicts and anxiety disorders
